RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Glenn (hand) took part in Wednesday's practice, Ian Hamilton of Riderville.com reports.

While still not fully cleared, Glenn's listing as No.1 on the depth chart ahead of Sunday's contest and his participation during Wednesday's practice are good signs for his availability. Considering him questionable under further word emerges is likely the safest bet, however.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Glenn (hand) will be a game-time decision for Friday's game against the Tiger-Cats, Lee Jones of CTV Regina reports.

While Glenn is listed as the No. 1 quarterback on the team's depth chart ahead of Friday's contest, the Roughriders are not ready to fully clear him. Glenn was seen taking snaps and performing hand-offs during Wednesday's practice, but it looks like he'll need to be evaluated even more over the next day or so before a final decision is made.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Glenn (hand) was seen taking snaps and performing hand-offs during Wednesday's practice, Lee Jones of CTV Regina reports.

No official word has come down the pipeline yet in regards to his availability for Friday's game against the Tiger-Cats. That said, signs are pointing in a positive direction and he should be considered questionable for the affair.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Glenn's (hand) injury is reportedly 'feeling better', though the quarterback should still be considered day-to-day, Murray McCormick of the Regina Leader-Post reports.

While it's encouraging that Glenn seems to be making progress, the team won't lean one way or another for his status during the team's upcoming game against the Tiger-Cats on Friday. If he's ultimately unable to go, expect Brandon Bridge to draw the start under center.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Glenn (hand) was held out of Monday's practice, Murray McCormick of the Regina Leader-Post reports.

Glenn suffered the hand injury during the third quarter of Saturday's loss to the Blue Bombers, eventually coming out of the game and not returning. He was held out of practice Monday and with Tuesday's practice not open to the media, another update on the injury may not come until Wednesday's session. His availability for practice later this week will ultimately give us a better indication of his status moving forward, but tentatively consider him questionable for Friday's matchup with the Tiger-Cats.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Glenn left Saturday's loss to the Blue Bombers in the third quarter after injuring his right hand and did not return, Rob Vanstone of The Regina Leader-Post reports.

The veteran QB ended Saturday's contest having completed 15 of 22 passes for 327 yards and two TDs with two interceptions. Brandon Bridge wasn't particularly impressive as his replacement, so the Riders need Glenn to get back on the field quickly if the team is going to remain in the playoff hunt in the competitive West Division. As yet, however, there's no word on the severity of the injury.

September 3, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Glenn completed 26 of 36 passes for 386 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions in Sunday's 38-24 win over the Bombers.

Glenn started off hot and never let up, posting a season-high yardage total through the air while firing multiple touchdown passes for the third straight game. The veteran also has 300-yard efforts in two of those contests, and he impressively connected with three different pass catchers (Naaman Roosevelt, Duron Carter and Rob Bagg) for his trio of scores. He'll look to put together another explosive effort in the Week 12 road matchup against the Bombers.

August 25, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Glenn completed 19 of 31 passes for 240 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in Friday's 54-31 win over the Eskimos. He also gained three yards on his sole rush.

Glenn connected with Naaman Roosevelt and Cameron Marshall for his pair of scores, and with the Riders also seemingly scoring in every other way imaginable Friday, he was able to take an early powder with the lead comfortably in hand. Glenn has multiple touchdown passes in three of his last four games and remains on pace for his best total in that category in at least the last nine campaigns of his long career. Glenn will look to keep racking up the numbers in a Week 11 matchup against the Blue Bombers.

August 13, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Glenn completed 19 of 25 passes for 320 yards with three touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's 41-8 win over the Lions. He also gained 18 yards on four rushes.

The veteran got the offensive barrage started early with a 35-yard touchdown throw to Bakari Grant and later found Cameron Marshall and Duron Carter for a subsequent pair of scores. It was an impressive rebound for Glenn, who'd thrown for a season-low 186 yards and two interceptions against the Lions in Week 7. Glenn now has an impressive 14:7 TD:INT and 2,104 passing yards through his first seven games and will look to keep rolling against the Eskimos in Week 10 following next week's bye.

August 5, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Glenn completed 19 of 27 passes for 186 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions in Saturday's 30-15 loss to the Lions. He added 12 yards on two rushes.

The veteran recently surpassed 50,000 career yards and achieved yet another milestone in the loss, passing Ron Lancaster for sixth on the CFL's all-time passing yards list. The performance was otherwise rather forgettable, however, as Glenn generated a season-low passing yardage total while also throwing two interceptions in a game for only the second time in 2017. Glenn was eventually pulled for Brandon Bridge in the second half with the game out of reach, but he'll try to redeem himself in the Week 8 rematch against the Lions.

July 29, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Glenn completed 24 of 37 passes for 340 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions in Saturday's 38-27 win over the Argos.

Glenn was back to lighting up the scoreboard and filling out the stat sheet Saturday, following a modest showing last week that marked his first game without a touchdown. The ageless veteran put on a show in conjunction with Duron Carter against the Argos, with the latter making multiple jaw-dropping receptions, including a highlight-reel grab for one of the quarterback's four scores. Glenn already has a pair of four-touchdown efforts this season and has eclipsed 300 yards in three of his last four games. He'll look to keep it going versus the Lions in Week 7.

July 22, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Glenn completed 20 of 29 passes for 203 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions in Saturday's 27-10 loss to the Stampeders.

After lighting up the CFL through his first three games, Glenn finally looked mortal Saturday, failing to throw a touchdown pass for the first time this season and also posting a season-low yardage total. The 38-year-old did reach a momentous milestone, however, eclipsing 50,000 career passing yards during the contest. Despite the modest stat line, Glenn boasts an outstanding 72.1 completion percentage for the season, and he'll look to bounce back when the Riders do battle with the Argos in Week 6.

July 8, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Glenn completed 32 of 43 passes for 380 yards with two touchdowns and an interception in Saturday's 37-20 win over the Tigercats. He also gained 12 yards and scored two additional touchdowns on four rushes.

The veteran appears completely rejuvenated in his third Saskatchewan stint, and his effort Saturday harkened back to his heyday. Despite the Riders offense missing Caleb Holley (shoulder), Glenn completed nearly 75 percent of his attempts while connecting with seven different pass catchers. Glenn's two rushing touchdowns also give him multiple rushing scores in a season for the first time since 2009, and helped round out what was an explosive fantasy performance. The 38-year-old already has 1,055 yards and nine total touchdowns in the first three weeks, a torrid run he'll look to extend against the Stampeders following a Week 4 bye.

July 1, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Glenn completed 36 of 49 passes for 377 yards with four touchdowns and two interceptions in Saturday's 43-40 overtime loss to the Blue Bombers. He added two yards on his sole rush.

Glenn has settled right into his new digs, as he's now compiled 675 yards and five touchdowns over the first two games. The 17-year veteran posted a stellar 73.5 percent completion rate on his 49 pass attempts while connecting with eight different receivers, including the returning Rob Bagg (ankle). Glenn was particularly impressive in the fourth quarter, when he brought the Riders back from a 37-23 deficit with a pair of touchdown strikes to Nic Demski and Naaman Roosevelt. Although he ultimately failed to pull out the win, Glenn has made for a highly effective DFS option through the season's first two weeks. He'll look to keep the arrow pointing upward when he faces off against the Tiger-Cats in Week 3.

June 22, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Glenn completed 31 of 44 passes for 298 yards and a touchdown with one interception in Thursday's 17-16 loss to the Alouettes.

The veteran quarterback also chipped in 16 rushing yards. Glenn spent most of last season with Montreal, throwing for over 2,500 yards for the 12th straight campaign, but he wasn't able to take his revenge on the club that traded him away last September. He'll get a shot at the team he finished 2016 with, the Blue Bombers, at home in Week 2.

June 19, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Glenn will start Thursday's season opener against the Alouettes, the Saskatoon StarPhoenix reports.

Glenn played minimally in the Roughriders' final exhibition game after sitting out the first, but head coach Chris jones still named Glenn the starter due to his performance in training camp and the 17 CFL seasons he has under his belt. Brandon Bridge will open the season as Saskatchewan's backup quarterback.

January 23, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Glenn signed an undisclosed contract with the Roughriders on Monday.

Glenn has played four seasons with Saskatchewan over his extremely long career, starting his professional journey with the team in 2001. Given the uncertain situation under center for the club, there may be an outside shot the veteran works his way in the mix, but Mitchell Gale should enter next season the favorite to retain the starting role at this juncture.

January 6, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Glenn was released by the Blue Bombers on Friday, Darrin Bauming of the TSN reports.

Glenn was a reserve for the entirety of the season, completing two of four passes for 16 yards. At 37 years old, Glenn was already supposed to be a free agent next month when his contract expired.

September 11, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Glenn was traded to the Blue Bombers on Sunday in exchange for fellow quarterback Drew Willy and a fourth-round pick.

Glenn was recently moved to backup quarterback after completing 222-of-314 pass attempts for 2,547 yards, 13 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions as Montreal's starting quarterback. Salary cap restrictions may have played a role in the trade, and Glenn will likely remain a reserve for the time being.

September 4, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Glenn will be replaced by Rakeem Cato as Montreal's starting quarterback moving forward, Didier Ormejuste of RDS reports.

Glenn has appeared in nine games for the Alouettes, completing 222-of-314 pass attempts for 2,547 yards, 13 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. He will now serve as the backup quarterback.

September 2, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Glenn completed 21 of 33 passes for 205 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions in Thursday's 19-14 loss to the Redblacks. He also gained 12 yards on two rushes.

The veteran signal-caller threw multiple interceptions for the second straight week and third time this season. Glenn's first miscue came on the opening possession for the Als off a tipped pass, while the second pick came as a result of what appeared to be a miscommunication with B.J. Cunningham. With 11 interceptions in nine games, Glenn has already surpassed his 2015 total over the same time period.

August 27, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Glenn completed 29 of 38 passes for 283 yards with a touchdown and four interceptions in Friday's 32-18 loss to the Blue Bombers, while also losing a fumble on a strip sack. He gained five yards on his sole rush.

The veteran signal-caller's 76.3 completion percentage may have been stellar, but it's the four passes he completed to the other team that were the major problem Friday. Glenn's problems began from the first possession when he was picked off by DE Justin Cole, and continued when CB Maurice Leggett got him for a 59-yard pick-six. He would go on to be intercepted two more times, doubling the amount of his previous season high in that category, which came Week 8 against the Eskimos. Glenn and the Als will try to regroup when they face the Redblacks in a home matchup in Week 11.

August 19, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Glenn completed 25 of 30 passes for 382 yards and five touchdowns with no interceptions in Friday's 43-19 victory over the Redblacks. He gained a yard on his sole rush as well.

The veteran quarterback bounced back in spectacular fashion from a rough outing against the Eskimos in Week 8 where he threw a season-high two interceptions. Glenn found Nik Lewis for his first of five touchdown passes late in the first quarter, and followed up with a 17-yard strike to Samuel Giguere in the second period to extend the Als' lead to 16-9 at the time. He then connected with Duron Carter for a pair of scores, the first a 67-yard bomb late in the first half that withstood a Redblacks challenge for offensive pass interference. The 37-year-old also found tailback Bobby Rutley for a 15-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter, helping round out a thorough decimation of an overmatched Ottawa squad. Glenn's encouraging performance served as his second 300-yard effort of the season, and first since Week 1 against the Blue Bombers.

August 12, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Glenn completed 22 of 39 passes for 271 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions in Thursday's 23-12 loss to the Eskimos. He also gained 19 yards on two rushes.

The veteran signal-caller couldn't get into a real rhythm throughout the night, with the fact that the Eskimos' offense was able to play keep-away for a large portion of the game playing a major role. He also struggled to find top target Duron Carter with any degree of consistency, as the standout receiver was often blanketed by cornerback Patrick Watkins. Glenn's two interceptions were also back-breakers, as they both came in the fourth quarter, with one being returned for a game-clinching touchdown by Edmonton linebacker Deon Lacey. Glenn's two picks were his first since Week 5 versus the Argos, and he's now failed to get to the 300-yard mark for five consecutive weeks. He'll try to rebound in Week 9 when the Als take on the Redblacks.

August 5, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Glenn completed 18 of 27 passes for 231 yards and a touchdown while also running in another score in Thursday's 38-18 loss to the Lions.

He actually got the Alouettes to within five points late in the third quarter before the Lions' defense put the game away with a fumble return for a TD. Glenn has looked good in three games since returning from an eye injury, completing 75.8 percent of his passes (69-of-91) for 815 yards and a 4:1 TD:INT.

July 30, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Glenn completed 27 of 36 passes for 299 yards and two touchdowns in Friday's 41-3 win over the Roughriders.

Given the final score Glenn's line is almost disappointing, but twice the Alouettes elected to run for TDs from the one-yard line, depriving Glenn of a couple of easy scores, while backup QB Rakeem Cato also threw for a touchdown in garbage time. Glenn now has 1175 passing yards and a 5:3 TD:INT through four games, solid numbers for the 37-year-old.

July 26, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Glenn completed 24 of 28 passes for 285 yards and a touchdown with one interception in Monday's loss to the Argos.

It was a solid return to action for Glenn after his eye injury, but his inability to cap off drives in the end zone eventually cost the Alouettes. Expect to see him back under center Friday when Montreal hosts Saskatchewan.

July 24, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Glenn (eye) is listed as the starting quarterback on the Alouettes' depth chart for Monday's matchup with the Argonauts.

Glenn sat out the Alouettes' Week 4 loss to the Tiger-Cats due to his eye issue, but he will be back under center Monday night in Toronto. Glenn averaged 295 passing yards over the Alouettes' first two games but tallied just two total touchdowns.

July 18, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Glenn (eye) took part in Monday's practice, Didier Ormejuste of RDS reports.

Glenn did not practice last week due to his eye issue and ultimately sat out Friday's matchup with Hamilton, but it appears he may be able to avoid missing any further action. He should have plenty of time to get back up to speed with the Alouettes not playing again until July 25.

July 14, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Glenn (eye) will not play Friday against the Tiger-Cats, Drew Edwards of the Hamilton Spectator reports.

Although Glenn's injury doesn't appear to be a long-term issue, he won't suit up for Friday's contest against Hamilton. In his absence Rakeem Cato will get the start, and Vernon Adams will move into the primary backup role behind Cato.

July 13, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Kevin Glenn: Glenn (eye) is missing practice for the fourth day in a row, RDS.ca's Didier Ormejuste reports.

Although Glenn is taking antibiotics and improving, it puts his availability for Friday's matchup with Hamilton into question. Glenn is the Alouettes' starting quarterback and has appeared in two games, completing 56-of 83 passes for 591 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions. Rakeem Kato will likely start in the case that Glenn cannot play Friday.

July 12, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Glenn was not at practice on Tuesday due an inflamed eye, Herb Zurkowsky of the Montreal Gazette reports.

This is Glenn's third missed practice over five days, but he is reportedly on antibiotics and improving. The Alouettes' starting quarterback has started both games this season, completing 56-of-83 pass attempts for 591 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions. Rakeem Cato has been taking reps with the starters while Glenn sits out, so consider him next in line if it turns out Glenn is unable to play Friday.

June 30, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Glenn completed 26 of 42 passes for 259 yards with a touchdown and an interception in Thursday's 28-13 loss to the Redblacks. He also gained two yards on his sole rush.

The 37-year-old's stat line was serviceable enough, but he averaged a modest 10 yards per completion, and much like in the opener, he couldn't finish enough drives in the end zone. Glenn's cause certainly wasn't help by early exits from a pair of his top wideouts, one of which was self-inflicted. While S.J. Green went down with a leg injury, Duron Carter got himself tossed from the contest after catching a third-quarter touchdown pass by paying an unsolicited visit to the Ottawa sideline and knocking down Redblacks head coach Rick Campbell in the process. Now 1-1, Glenn and the Alouettes will use their bye in Week 3 to get prepared for a Week 4 showdown with the Tigercats.

June 25, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Glenn completed 30 of 42 passes for 332 yards and a touchdown while being intercepted once in Friday's 22-14 win over the Blue Bombers.

The Alouettes were able to move the ball effectively but had trouble punching it into the end zone on a sloppy night that saw the game delayed for an hour due to a storm and lightning warning. The 37-year-old Glenn is now on his sixth CFL team, but shows few signs of slowing down in 2016.

June 18, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Glenn completed seven of 14 passes for 109 yards and a touchdown in Friday's preseason win over the Argos.

The 37-year-old veteran, acquired from Saskatchewan at last year's trade deadline, heads into 2016 as the starter for Montreal and will look to give the team some stability at the position while they groom Vernon Adams Jr. as their QB of the future. Glenn won't put up outstanding numbers, but he hasn't had a completion percentage below 62 percent since 2006.
