RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Tasker posted six receptions for 78 yards in Friday's 27-19 loss to the Riders.

Tasker bounced back after a pair of sub-par weeks, posting his best reception and receiving yard totals since Week 9. The sure-handed 26-year-old continues to have one of the safer fantasy floors for CFL receivers, as he's posted at least five catches in all but two games this season. He'll look to continue producing against the Lions in Week 14.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Tasker caught five passes for 46 yards in Saturday's 26-22 win over the Redblacks.

The 26-year-old hasn't been able to stretch the field this season in an underpowered Ti-Cats passing game, recording a career-low 9.8 yards per catch through 10 games. Tasker's 53 receptions does put him on pace for a new career high in that category, however, and with run-first QB Jeremiah Masoli now under center, he may have to content himself with being a possession option going forward.

September 5, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Tasker caught three passes for 32 yards in Monday's 24-22 win over the Argos.

It was his lowest reception total since he got held without a catch completely by Saskatchewan back in Week 3. Tasker's numbers are down this season due to Hamilton's offensive struggles, but if quarterback jeremiah Masoli can provide a spark over the final weeks, Tasker should be one of the biggest beneficiaries.

August 18, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Tasker posted six receptions for 93 yards and a touchdown in Friday's 37-18 loss to the Redblacks.

Tasker continues to be one of the few bright spots in an otherwise dismal campaign for the Ti-Cats. The 26-year-old has only averaged 9.8 yards per reception, but he does have at least five catches in all but one game this season. With 45 grabs through eight games, Tasker also remains well on pace to exceed the career-high 76 receptions he's tallied the last two seasons. He'll look to keep it going when Hamilton faces off with the Argos in the Labour Day Classic in Week 11.

August 12, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Tasker totaled five receptions for 64 yards in Saturday's 39-12 loss to the Blue Bombers.

Tasker led the sluggish Ti-Cats offense in both receptions and yards Saturday, notching his sixth game with at least five grabs and a season-best 12.8 yards per catch. The sure-handed Cornell product has only managed to get into the end zone on one occasion, however, capping his overall fantasy value. He'll look to continue producing when Hamilton once again tries for its first victory against the Redblacks in Week 9.

July 30, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Tasker totaled 82 yards on nine receptions in Saturday's 60-1 loss to the Stamps.

The possession receiver managed to still rack up the numbers in the 59-point loss, with both his reception and yardage total serving as season highs. Tasker continues to be the most sure-handed target for whoever lines up behind center for the Ti-Cats, although his limited downfield speed requires that he compile plenty of catches in order to provide adequate fantasy returns. Despite the team's overall struggles, the 26-year-old continues to be one of its most reliable offensive options.

July 21, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Tasker hauled in six receptions for 34 yards and a touchdown in Thursday's 31-28 loss to the Eskimos.

Although the yardage total was nothing to write home about, Tasker did score the Ti-Cats' only receiving touchdown on the night, his first of the season. The 26-year-old is mostly operating near the line of scrimmage thus far (8.3 yards per catch) but is piling up the receptions, already logging 20 catches over three games while getting uncharacteristically shut out in a fourth. As one of Zach Collaros' top targets, he should remain a high-volume option each week.

July 15, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Tasker totaled 57 yards on seven receptions in Saturday's 41-26 loss to the Eskimos.

A week after unexpectedly getting shut out of the stat sheet versus the Riders, Tasker bounced back by equaling the seven receptions he'd managed in Week 1. The 26-year-old was a reliable presence near the line of scrimmage for quarterback Zach Collaros, with his longest reception a modest 18 yards. The Cornell product has opened the season with 14 receptions for 134 yards in the first three weeks and normally has a solid fantasy floor, last week's blanking notwithstanding.

June 25, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Tasker produced 77 yards on seven receptions in Sunday's 32-15 loss to the Argonauts.

Tasker's reception and yardage totals were both team highs, as he unsurprisingly served as Zach Collaros' most trusted option on the afternoon. The 26-year-old has been as steady as they come for Hamilton over the last three seasons, hauling in over 70 receptions in each campaign while notching 16 touchdowns. Tasker figures in for another robust role in the Ti-Cats offense this season, particularly while fellow pass catchers Terrence Toliver and Andy Fantuz are sidelined with knee injuries.

June 12, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Tasker (abdomen) did not see any offensive snaps in the Tiger-Cats' preseason opener, according to the Hamilton Spectator.

Tasker is healthy after recovering from an abdominal injury that cut short his 2016 season, but he and several other prominent Tiger-Cats were held out of the team's first preseason game for precautionary purposes. With fellow receiver Andy Fantuz banged up heading into the 2017 season, Tasker is on track to open the campaign as the Tiger-Cats' top option in the slot.

November 10, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Tasker (undisclosed) did not take part in Thursday's practice, Drew Edwards of the Hamilton Spectator reports.

It was reported earlier this month that Tasker had a shot to play in the postseason, but with him still unable to practice, signs are pointing toward him remaining sidelined for at least another week.

November 2, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Tasker (undisclosed) could see action in the playoffs, 3DownNation reports.

Tasker will remain sidelined for the Tiger-Cats' Week 20 finale, but if he is able to show improvement over the next couple weeks, he could return to action before the 2016 campaign comes to a close.

October 13, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Tasker (undisclosed) was transferred to the six-game disabled list Thursday, Drew Edwards of the Hamilton Spectator reports.

It's not exactly clear how far back the move pushes Tasker's return since he missed the last two games and was already ruled out for Week 17, but it does indicate the Tiger-Cats believe he could miss further action beyond this week's matchup with the Redblacks.

October 11, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Tasker (undisclosed) will not play in Friday's game against the Redblacks, CFL.ca reports.

Tasker was unable to practice Monday despite the Tiger-Cats having a Week 16 bye, and the team wasted little time ruling him out for this week. Tasker's next chance to play will come in Week 18 against the same Redblacks team the Tiger-Cats will take on this Friday.

October 10, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Tasker (undisclosed) did not take part in Monday's practice, 3DownNation reports.

Tasker missed the Tiger-Cats' last two games due to his injury, and he is still banged up coming out of the teams' Week 16 bye. He will likely have to get some practice time in at some point this week if he hopes to play in Hamilton's next game Friday.

September 30, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Tasker (undisclosed) is not listed on the depth chart for Saturday's game against the Stampeders.

Tasker will miss his second game in a row, which leaves the Tiger-Cats without their leading receiver for Saturday's matchup with the top team in the CFL. Tasker will have a couple weeks to rest and recover before Hamilton's next game with the Tiger-Cats on bye in Week 16.

September 27, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Tasker (undisclosed) did not take part in Tuesday's practice, 3DownNation reports.

Tasker sat out last week's game due to his unspecified injury, and it appears he is still recovering from his setback. His status for the Tiger-Cats' next game Saturday will be determined later this week.

September 23, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Tasker has been dealing with an undisclosed injury, which will now keep him out of his Week 14 matchup only while he is on the one-game injured list. If the team clarifies the injury, the duration of his absence would become more clear.

September 21, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Head coach Kent Austin said Wednesday that Tasker's status for Saturday's game against the Roughriders is uncertain, Drew Edwards of the Hamilton Spectator reports.

The Tiger-Cats have not released any further details regarding Tasker's status, but Austin's comments point to him dealing with some sort of injury. Fellow receiver Chad Owens has already been ruled out for Saturday's game, so the Tiger-Cats could be without their top two receivers in Week 14 if Tasker is unable to go.

September 21, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Tasker did not participate in Tuesday's practice, the Hamilton Spectator reports.

It's not clear why Tasker sat out Tuesday, but his absence leaves his status in question for the Tiger-Cats' next game Saturday against the Roughriders.

September 17, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Tasker caught six passes for 44 yards and a touchdown in Friday's win over the Alouettes.

The TD strike from Zach Collaros proved to be the only offensive touchdown either team scored in a tight defensive battle. The fourth-year receiver has already tied his previous career high with 76 catches on the season, and Tasker's well on pace for his second straight 1000-yard campaign.

September 6, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Tasker caught five passes for 122 yards and a touchdown in Monday's win over the Argos.

Four different Ti-Cat receivers got into the end zone Monday (five if you count Andy Fantuz's two-point conversion), but Tasker once again was the most productive of the bunch. He's now caught a touchdown pass in all four games since Zach Collaros returned to action with an impressive 28 receptions for 346 yards over that stretch.

August 29, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Tasker caught 10 passes for 100 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's loss to the Stampeders.

His receiving yards have taken a bit of a dip since Terrence Toliver returned to action and emerged as a big-play threat, but Tasker has remained heavily involved in the Hamilton passing game -- in the three games since Zach Collaros came back from a knee injury, Tasker has 23 catches for 224 yards and three TDs.

August 14, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Tasker totaled 86 yards and a touchdown on eight receptions in Saturday's 45-38 loss to the Lions.

The Cornell product was the returning Zach Collaros' favorite target on the night, equaling his second-best reception total on the season while contributing his first touchdown of the 2016 campaign. Tasker has taken a leap forward this season, with his 47 receptions and 524 receiving yards putting him well on pace to surpass the career-best 76 catches and 1066 yards he managed in 2015. With Collaros back behind center, Tasker could see an even bigger boost in product in coming weeks if Saturday's results are any indication.

August 11, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Tasker was back practicing Thursday after taking a day of rest Tuesday, Drew Edwards of the Hamilton Spectator reports.

Tasker's status for Saturday's game was in question after he was seen on a stationary bike during Tuesday's practice, but his participation during Thursday's session likely indicates he'll be fine to play against the Lions.

August 9, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Tasker sat out Tuesday's practice in order to take a rest day, and is expected to play on Saturday against the Lions, Drew Edwards of the Hamilton Spectator reports.

Tasker was seen in sweatpants on the sideline working out on a stationary bike on Tuesday. He's appeared in six games for the Tiger-Cats this season, grabbing 39 passes for 438 yards.

August 9, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Tasker did not practice on Tuesday for undisclosed reasons, Drew Edwards of the Hamilton Spectator reports.

Tasker was seen on the sidelines working on a stationary bike. This somewhat clouds his availability for Saturday's game. Tasker has appeared in six games this season, and has caught 39 passes for 438 yards. There will likely be more updates on his status coming soon.

July 24, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Tasker totaled 146 yards on 11 catches in Saturday's 37-31 victory over the Eskimos.

The Cornell product exploded for his most productive game of the season, setting bests in both receptions and yards. It was Tasker's first 100-yard game of the campaign, and the 13.3 yards per catch that he posted Saturday was his top figure in that category in 2016 as well. With 36 receptions and 402 yards over the first five games, Tasker is well on pace to surpass the career-best 76 catches and 1066 yards he amassed last season.

July 8, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Tasker notched 91 yards on his game-high eight receptions in Thursday's 28-24 loss to the Blue Bombers.

The veteran was one of several Ti-Cats receivers to pad their stats during a second half that saw Hamilton playing catch-up. Coming off the first 1,000-yard season of his career in 2015, Tasker already has 23 catches over his first three games, although he's currently averaging a career-low 10.5 yards per reception.

July 2, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Tasker caught seven passes for 70 yards, both team highs, in Friday's loss to the Lions.

He's been Jeremiah Masoli's most reliable target through two games, but the Tiger-Cats' inability to string a drive together Friday limited Tasker's production. He'll look for a better result next week when Hamilton hosts a struggling Winnipeg squad.

June 24, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Tasker caught a team-high eight passes for 81 yards in Thursday's win over the Argos.

Tiger-Cats quarterback Jeremiah Masoli did a good job spreading the ball around, and while Tasker was his favourite target he also didn't catch one of Masoli's three TDs on the night. Tasker is coming off his first 1000-yard season in 2015 and second straight 70-catch season, and it looks like he'll be able to match that kind of production once again in 2016.
